The 8 Series comes with lots of features to improve handling like internal active steering, active rear differential and active roll stabilization
BMW is putting final touches on new 8 Series which will make its official debut on June 15. Ever since the 8 Series Concept made its debut last year, it is one of the most awaited models to be launched from the German manufacturer. The company has been testing the new 8 Series extensively across different parts of the world and lengthy teaser campaign is not yet finished.
The recent spy shots reveal the rear of new 8 Series Convertible but the model is an unfinished unit as it doesn’t have tail lamps and bumper at the rear. But we can see the detailing given for the body as it will have lots of cuts and curves to make the body look stylish. The boot is broke up into two parts just like the one we have seen with 6 Series convertible.

Along with regular 8 Series models which include coupe and convertible variants, BMW will introduce M8 which will come with luxurious interior and excellent performance. The flagship M8 will be powered by upgraded 4.4 L Bi-Turbo V8 engine producing 530 PS of power and 750 Nm of torque. This engine delivers 68 PS of power and 100 Nm of torque more than the old 650i.
BMW engineers have focused a lot on the handling as they want to make it one of the finest handling models in the lineup. The 8 Series comes with lots of features to improve handling like internal active steering, active rear differential and active roll stabilization. BMW will also give four wheel drive system for extra grip around corners and on acceleration.
