BMW 7 Series M760Li gets power from a 6.6-litre M Performance TwinPower V12 engine making 610 hp and 800 Nm; can do 0-100 kmph in 3.7 seconds

The Bavarian auto brand is on a launch spree of late and has introduced a new top-of-the-range 7 Series model for the Indian market in standard as well as V12 Excellence grades. Both variants of the new BMW M760Li xDrive is priced at Rs. 2.27 crore (ex-showroom, New Delhi) and it comes equipped with M Sport package and aggressive exterior adhering to the M Performance demeanour.

The BMW M760i xDrive adorns a different look with unique 20-inch M double-spoke alloy wheels finished in matt cerium Grey, bigger air intakes, aggressive kidney grille and the bar finished in galvanized Cerium Grey, V12 badges, model designation in Cerium Grey, etc. Additionally, the exhaust pipe is finished in unique touch along with door embellishments and M rear spoiler as optional fitment.

Other than these attractive features, the 7 Series M760i xDrive gets exclusive M leather steering wheel with M logo, speedo featuring model designation with extended speed of 330 kmph, M pedals, M driver’s footrest, door sill plates and so on. On the other hand, the V12 Excellence is equipped with silver finished kidney grille slats, air breather with decorative door trim, V12 embossed on the C-pillar, V12 logo in place of model designation on the tailgate, luxury grade materials and 20-inch W-spoke light alloy wheels among others.

Moreover, the headliner is finished in Alcantara design, wooden inlays for seat belt outlets, roof handles and arm rests, V12 lettering on the instrument cluster, illuminated V12 model designation, leather steering wheel with wood décor and so forth. It is good enough to pump out a maximum power output of 610 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 800 Nm of peak torque delivered as low as 1,500 rpm. Power is transferred through an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission with the xDrive all-wheel drive system distributing to the wheels. The top speed is electronically limited to 250 kmph but with the help of M Driver’s Package, it can be upped to 305 kmph. The BMW 7 Series M760Li can sprint from zero to 100 kmph in just 3.7 seconds.
