Benelli Motobi 200 (Bajaj Avenger Rival) Cruiser Is A Perfect Fit For India

The Benelli Motobi 200 is an entry level cruiser, which made its debut at Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show 2018

Benelli officially revealed Motobi 200 at Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show 2018. The Motobi 200 is an entry level cruiser, which will go on sale in Indonesia soon. The company has given proper cruiser design theme for Motobi 200 and the mechanical parts are finished in black colour.

The Motobi 200 gets round headlamp with clear lens indicators and the company has given telescopic suspension at front. The handle bar is a single piece unit, which is positioned on the taller side and fuel tank design is simple. The cruiser comes with low seating position along with forward set foot pegs to give a comfortable riding position.

Benelli has given single pod fully digital instrument cluster and it has speedometer, odometer and other indicators integrated into it. The Motobil 200 gets twin shock gas charged suspension at rear and it is tuned to give excellent ride quality. The rear get round tail lamp and grab rails are placed on either side.

The Motobi 200 comes with 17 inch alloy wheel at front with 90/90 section tyre and 15 inch alloy wheel at rear with 130/90 section tyre. The braking power comes from 280 mm disc at front and 240 mm disc at rear, but the company hasn’t given ABS system with Motobi 200 as it will increase cost.

The cruiser is powered by 197 cc single cylinder oil cooled engine with 13.9 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The company hasn’t revealed power output figures and this engine is mated to 5 speed gearbox. Benelli tuned the engine for cruising with linear power delivery and we can expect good efficiency also.

The company is yet to confirm whether Motobi 200 will be launched in India and if it comes, the cruiser will take on Bajaj Avenger 220, which is so popular among customers. Benelli is planning to launch 12 new products by the end of next year and the Italian manufacturer might bring Motobi 200 to improve volume in Indian market.
