Benelli To Showcase 10 New Motorcycles At 2017 EICMA

The new parallel twin motorcycles will have engine displacements of 250cc, 400cc and 750cc; will hit the markets between 2018 and 2019

Benelli has plans to introduce three parallel twin motorcycles at the coming 2017 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Italy next month. The three bikes in question will come with 250cc, 400cc and 750cc engines. The company will now be aiming at the performance value for money segment.

Regarding the unveil of new machines, Mr Dante Bustos, who is the marketing director at Benelli for America, Asia and Africa has stated that in terms of engine platforms, the company is planning to expand rapidly in the 400cc and 750cc space. The top honcho further added that Benelli will be using different type of frame in different type of bikes. The brand cannot release too many motorcycles in a single year and hence, its 250cc, 400cc and 750cc bikes will roll out between 2018 and 2019. The company is also planning to introduce a new engine type in the years to come.

Besides the new parallel twin engines, Benelli has something else in store. The company is working on single cylinder 150cc and 250cc motorcycles that will make their way to the showrooms sometime next year. In total, Benelli will be showcasing a total of 10 new motorcycles at the EICMA and will have bikes belonging to almost every segment. These will include two motorcycles that will arrive under the TRK umbrella and will have 250cc and 750cc power plants.

Currently, there are no details available regarding the bikes at the moment and more information will get unwrapped at the event only. If reports are to be believed, Benelli will also be displaying a new TNT 300 at the EICMA motor show. Also, the company has also showed signs of an electric bike in the making and with this, one can surely see that a lot is happening inside the company’s board rooms.

In other news, Benelli has plans to launch KTM 390 Duke rival at the 2018 Auto Expo and needless to say, it will be one of the most anticipated motorcycles of the year.
