Existing customers do not have to worry about their servicing and other prospects though as everything is set to remain the same except for the change in management

DSK Motowheels and Benelli announced their partnership back in October 2014 and it has been a successful journey through the years. Benelli rose to become one of the highly recognisable premium performance bike makers in the country and quickly expanded its presence to several cities across India.

While the TNT 899 and TNT R were stopped following the switch to BS IV emission standards, other products such as TNT 25, TNT 300, 302R, TNT 600i and TNT 600 GT have continued. The company currently has 25 dealerships and sells bikes in the range of Rs. 2 lakh to Rs. 13 lakh.

Benelli have long been expected to introduce the Leoncino scrambler and TRK 502 adventure bike. The launch delays could be down to the reason that there had lot been going behind the curtain on the authoritative side.

A recent report emerged on the internet suggested that, despite the brand’s popularity, DSK Motowheels had endured bankruptcy due to its real estate entity. Therefore, changes had to be made and in come a new management called Mahavir Group.

Benelli has shifted its HQ from Pune to Hyderabad, and existing customers do not have to worry about their servicing and other prospects though as everything is set to remain the same except for the change in management. Mahavir Group is a dealer of DSK Benelli in Hyderabad and it was the first to establish sales network for Mercedes-Benz in the Andhra Pradesh capital back two decades ago.

Currently, the group runs dealerships of Indian Motorcycles also, in Hyderabad as well as Vijayawada along with other car brands. It is said to manage sales and service operations for Benelli and is expected to set up a plant in Andhra Pradesh.
