The International spec Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is sold with fuel-injection equipped motor which also powers the flagship Pulsar RS200 in India as well
According to the recent report, Bajaj Auto will introduce the fuel injected variant of the Pulsar NS200 during Diwali this year. The Pune based two-wheeler manufacturer will update the fuel injected engine of their flagship Pulsar offering the RS200 to meet the upcoming stricter BS-VI emission norms and thus they will also use the same motor to power the Indian spec Pulsar NS200 as well.
The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is currently powered by a 199.5cc, single cylinder liquid cooled carbureted unit. For those of you who are still not aware Bajaj Auto already offers the fuel injected variant of the Pulsar NS200 in the International market. The International spec Pulsar NS200 is powered by a 199.5 cc SOHC 4-Valve, Liquid Cooled, Triple Spark unit that produces about 24.13 hp of peak power at 9,750 rpm and 18.6 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm.
The Indian spec NS200, on the other hand, produces about 23.17 hp of max power and 18.3 Nm of peak torque. Both the models are paired with a 6-speed gearbox though. According to the reports, Bajaj will most probably introduce the fuel injected BS-VI variant of the Pulsar NS200 in India before April 2020. Apart from updating the motorcycle’s engine with the upcoming emission norms expect it to also get some minor visual updates as well.
Although we are not exactly sure at this moment but there is a fair chance that the soon to be launched Pulsar NS200 fuel injected variant will feature an updated graphics along with new paint scheme. There is a fair chance that the upcoming motorcycle can also sport a new full LED headlamp setup and a fully digital instrument cluster that will replace the existing semi analog-digital instrument cluster.
With all the new changes on board expect the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Fi+ABS (single channel) variant to be priced around Rs 1.20 Lakhs (ex-showroom). The current Bajaj Pulsar NS200 retails at Rs. 1,12,557 (ex-showroom).
