Bajaj Sells 15,000 units Of Pulsar RS200 in a very short time. Pulsar exports begin in Russia for the first time as Bajaj always bets big on exports
Russia and India have very much in common. The Relationship between both countries is enviable for others and to strength this bond we have imported and exported a lot of stuff from their country and vice versa. Today, Bajaj is all set to roll out container ships full of Pulsar’s to the Vodka driven country.
The Pulsar will go to Russia via the CKD route to make things affordable for the masses who love their automobiles like no other. Already value driven Pulsar’s coming at right cost should be fruitful for the Pune-based auto maker. Bajaj has appointed a local partner to help them sell the vehicles.
Meanwhile, here at home, Bajaj continues to rule sports category with 43% market share as it has sold over 50,000 units of the AS200/150 motorcycles and today, for the month of August starting from April, the company has sold 15,000 units of the RS200.
The RS200 is its flagship Supersport motorcycle, which is loaded to the gills with technology and dynamics along with excellent refinement, touring and track capabilities. The Pulsar RS200 has been priced at Rs 1,20,000 for the non-ABS and Rs 1,32,001 for the ABS variant. All prices ex-showroom Delhi.
Bajaj is on a roll in the country. After launching a slew of Pulsar’s, it is all set to launch three new Avenger badged motorcycles into the country. The Avengers are likely to be branded CS as well and will come two engine options that we are familiar with such as the 200 and 400cc engines. The engines are based on the KTM platform, but are different when it comes incorporating Bajaj’s Triple spark and fuel injection methods. Bajaj also has plans to come up with an all new brand which will be for commuter motorcycles.
