Bajaj is gearing up to introduce new model in Dominar range; will strengthen grip in middleweight category
Bajaj is trying to make a strong position in the middleweight category with its Dominar model range. Currently, the brand sells Dominar 400 and the lineup is expected to see the introduction of new model by the end of this year. Ahead of that, Bajaj has mocked Royal Enfield motorcycles in its new television commercial for the Dominar 400.
The new TVC mocks the slow pace of the Royal Enfield machines and compare them with elephants. The TVS shows a pack of elephants just like a bandwagon of riders with the unmistakable thumping sound at the background. The commercial also shows how the elephants are struggling at an uphill road and at the corners.

Amidst such humorous scenes three Dominar 400s take entry and make their way through the pack of elephants. No wonder Bajaj took time to mock at Royal Enfield in a funny way. But the message is clear as a voice says don’t make pet out of elephants. Bajaj launched the Dominar 400 as its flagship model and the bike garnered pretty much attention within short span after arrival.
Just a few days ago, Bajaj has revealed that it will expand the Dominar range by the end of this year. The company has already patented two new bikes based on the Dominar and one of them is expected to launch in December 2017. The Dominar comes as a power cruiser and it gets very stylish design apart from the power packed performance.

The bike is power by a 373.2 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is coupled with a 6-sped gearbox. This same engine does duty in the new KTM Duke 390 and it is well capable of churning out 35 PS of peak power at 8,000 rpm and 35 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The bike can accelerate to 0-100 kmph in 8.23 seconds and it can run at a top speed of 148 kmph.
