Bajaj CT100 ES Alloy and Platina ES Spoke are priced at Rs. 41,997 and Rs. 42,650 (ex-showroom, New Delhi) respectively
Bajaj has silently launched two new variants of its commuters bikes the CT100 and Platina. These new variants the CT100 ES Alloy and the Platina ES Spoke are priced at Rs. 41,997 and Rs. 42,650 (ex-showroom, New Delhi), respectively. The CT100 ES Alloy is the top variant of the 100 cc commuter bike, while the Platina ES Spoke is the new base variant of this popular 100 cc commuter.
With the introduction of the new top variant, Bajaj CT100 now comes available in four different options CT100 Spoke, CT100 Alloy, CT100B and the CT100 ES Alloy. On the other hand the Bajaj Platina is now available in two different wheel options, spoke and alloy. As the commuter segment still rules the Indian two-wheeler market, introduction of these new variants are expected to boost the sales of the models marginally.

The all new Bajaj CT100 ES Alloy gets electric start option alongside the alloy wheels. This bike is powered by a 99.27 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is capable of churning out 8 bhp of peak power at 7,500 rpm and 8.05 Nm of peak torque at 4,500 rpm.
The Bajaj Platina ES Spoke sports electric start option alongside the multi-spoke wheels. This commuter bike draws energy from a 102 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled DTS-I engine that is capable of kicking out 8 bhp of peak power at 7,500 rpm and 8.6 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm.

Despite having a strong hold in the commuter segment, Bajaj has cleared its ambition to grab a sizeable share in the premium segment. The company already confirmed that it will launch new models in all of its model ranges by the end of this year. In that case, we are expected to see the introduction of new Pulsar, Avenger, Dominar bikes arriving in the domestic market by December 2017.
