Bajaj Avenger 180 will get a single channel ABS system and there are no other mechanical or cosmetic updates made to the cruiser

We already have reported that Bajaj will launch the Avenger Street 220 with a single channel ABS within a few weeks in India. Recently, Bajaj has also teased their upcoming Avenger 180 ABS variant as well. There is no mention about the prices yet though.

However, keeping the other two Avenger 220 ABS variants’ prices in mind expect the upcoming Avenger 180 ABS to also be priced around Rs 6,700 to Rs 7,000 more than its non-ABS variant. The non-ABS variant of the Avenger 180 retails at Rs 84,717 (ex-showroom).

The teaser image quite clearly reveals that there are no other cosmetic or mechanical updates made to the cruiser. The updated 2019 Avenger 180 continues to be powered by the 180cc, Twin spark, 2 valves, DTS-I, air cooled unit. This unit is capable of churning out about 15.5 PS at 8,500 rpm and 13.7 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
