Bajaj Auto has hit the jackpot earlier this year when they launched the uniquely designed V15, which claims to come built with the scrap metal from INS Vikrant, India’s most famous aircraft carrier. The V15 has already garnered appreciation and interest from the customers and critics. Now to enhance the appeal of the already pretty popular model Bajaj Auto has introduced an all new colour theme to the motorcycle. From now on the V15 is available in Cocktail Wine Red colour theme alongside the White and Black themes.

The café racer inspired motorcycle has became one of the top 10 best selling motorcycles in Indian market in April pretty soon after the launch. The motorcycle receives no other changes except an additional paint theme although. The new colour cost no extra charge to the customers. The motorcycle is designed in an unique manner. It is basically a crossover between a café racer and a cruiser.

The headlamps have been designed oddly. The instrument cluster sports only analog dials, no digital display. Looking at the fuel tank will surely give you goosebumps, as it sports the INS Vikrant logo and the lettering “Made with the invincible metal of INS Vikrant”. The rider seat and the foot pegs are positioned in a manner to deliver a comfortable riding experience. The rear seat can be removed by an Allen key which is provided with the ignition key.

Technically speaking, the Bajaj V15 is powered by a 149.5 cc air cooled single cylinder DTS-i engine mated to a 5 speed transmission, which churns out 11.8 bhp of peak power at 7500 rpm and 13 Nm of peak torque at 5500 rpm. After the Bajaj Pulsar 150, Bajaj Discover 150 and Bajaj Avenger 150 Street, this is the fourth product from Bajaj Auto in the very popular 150 cc segment. The motorcycle is priced at Rs. 61999 (ex showroom, New Delhi). Bajaj Auto is planning to export the motorcycle to the overseas markets like West Asia, Africa, and Latin America soon. The two wheeler maker is also planning to increase the production of the motorcycle up to 1000 units daily.
