The 178 cc single cylinder engine produces 17 bhp of power at 8,500 rpm and 14 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox and the bike is expected to return 45 Km/l. The 180 F offers good performance as 0-100 kph comes in just 4.8 sec and top speed is 122 kph, which is around 8 kph slower than the 220F.
The braking performance comes from 260 mm disc at the front and 230 mm disc at the rear. Bajaj is offering single-channel ABS braking system with the 180 F and the company has given steel braided brakes lines. The front gets telescopic forks and rear gets the gas-charged dual suspension.
