The eleventh generation 2023 Honda Accord gets a thoroughly redesigned exterior and interior and it will be equipped with a new hybrid powertrain
Honda has revealed the official teaser images of the eleventh-generation Accord and it has been confirmed to have improved hybrid tech. It vows to bring back the excitement in the premium sedan segment as Honda claims it to be a sporty, modern, smart and comfortable model. Just as the brand says it does have a sharp styling philosophy revealed in the teaser.
The exterior highlights are a new hexagonal front grille with integrated LED Daytime Running Lights, a muscular bonnet ensuring a wide track when viewed from the front and it dips lower for a better view for the driver from the inside, sharper headlamps that extend into the grille, a heavily raked front windshield and a large greenhouse.
The teaser image of the interior of the 2023 Honda Accord shows the presence of a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system in landscape orientation and the instrument cluster has also gained a host of revisions. The rear teaser shows slimmer LED tail lamps connected by a thin strip of LED lighting with the Honda badge positioned in the middle.
The left side of the sculpted bootlid with an integrated lip spoiler has the Accord badge and you could also see the hybrid touring badging on the right side. The Honda Accord sedan is known for having a clean overall profile and the upcoming model further enhances what is already a proven design in a more appealing way with more influencing changes.
Even the side character lines point straight wards as the overall styling is rather refreshing following the controversial reception of the latest global Civic. As for the performance, Honda says it will have a fun-to-drive hybrid powertrain. The interior will have less use of physical buttons as touch controls will take the centre stage for most of the actions.
The 2023 Honda Accord will make its world debut next month but it is highly unlikely to see the light in India considering that the segment’s popularity has certainly reduced big time in recent years.
