Honda has taken the covers off the X-ADV 150 at the 2019 Gaiikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). The mini scooter looks identical to the bigger X-ADV 750. The rugged styling, bigger wheels, and dual-LED headlamp setup at the front will remind you of the bigger and more powerful X-ADV 750 adventure scooter.
Honda has also decided to use the same ‘ X-ADV’ nameplate for this mini scooter as well. Just like we already mentioned earlier, the front apron of the X-ADV 150 features an integrated dual-LED headlamp setup while the rear taillamp is integrated within the rear tail section.
The rear LED side-turn indicators are positioned just above the number plate area and go well with the overall rugged theme of the scooter. The X-ADV 150 features a side-mounted exhaust setup positioned at 45-degree angle. Unlike the spoke wheels of the X-ADV 750, the smaller X-ADV 150 features an alloy wheels on both ends.
The front profile has been fitted with 14-inch wheels while the rear profile gets 13-inch wheels wrapped with on and off-road spec tyres with a deeper and wider tread. The Honda X-ADV 150 shares the same single-cylinder, the water-cooled 149.3cc engine that powers the Honda PCX 150 as well.
The unit is capable of producing about 14.5 Hp of peak power at 8,500 rpm and 13.2 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. However, the gear ratios of the CVT transmission are tuned in a different way to suit the additional weight and size of the scooter.
Although not many details are available at this moment, the small X-ADV 150 might feature a handguard and a CRF450 rally styled instrument cluster seen on bigger X-ADV 750 as an option.
The suspension duties of the scooter are handled by a conventional telescopic fork at the front and a twin spring suspension setup at the rear. The braking duties of the X-ADV 150 are taken care of by a disc brake on both ends. A single-channel ABS is also offered as standard for the safety of the rider.
