Actor R Madhavan Gifts Himself An Indian Roadmaster This Diwali

The movie celebrity already has a BMW K1200 GTL, Ducati Diavel and a Yamaha V-Max in his garage when it comes to high-end bikes

In India, the festive season is the most auspicious occasion for buying anything new and this includes vehicles as well. Keeping the similar philosophy in mind, actor R Madhavan has bought himself a spanking new Indian Roadmaster motorcycle.

The Bollywood celebrity shared his happiness through his official Instagram account. Madhavan purchased the motorcycle in a dual tone shade of black and beige.

The Indian Roadmaster is currently one of the most feature rich touring motorcycles that you can buy in India. Powering this mammoth is a 1811cc, Thunderstroke 111 engine that has been assisted to a six-speed transmission. The fuel injected motor sheds out respective power and torque outputs of 73 bhp and 139 Nm.

The braking duties on the Indian Roadmaster are taken care of with the help of twin 300mm disc brakes upfront along with a single 300mm disc brake at the rear end. An Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) comes standard to offer a safe and more effective braking.

The suspension system of the Indian Roadmaster comprises of 46mm telescopic forks upfront along with pneumatic adjustable monoshock at the rear.

The salient features of the Indian Roadmaster include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, electronically adjustable windscreen, heated seats and grips along with Bluetooth connectivity. Besides this, the bagger also comes with USB charging facility so that the rider’s phone or other peripheral devices do not run out of charge while on the move. The motorcycle also gets a large 64 litre trunk storage to offer convenience to the rider when it comes to store his or her belongings.

Additional highlights of the Roadmaster include cruise control, multiple riding modes, self cancelling indicators along with security and 200W stereo system.

The Indian Roadmaster is currently priced in the Indian two-wheeler market at Rs. 40.45 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Besides the new Roadmaster, R Madhavan also owns a Ducati Diavel, a BMW K1200 GTL and a Yamaha V-Max.
