Here’s a list of all the forthcoming Hyundai Vehicles, set to launch this year or the next, which will be equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
In the ever-evolving world of automobiles, Hyundai is revving up to make a splash in the Indian market with a trio of exciting models, each with its own unique charm. The company has recently made news with the new Verna receiving 5-star safety scores in GNCAP crash tests, which is a very exciting development. Now, Hyundai is planning to bring safety to the forefront in other models as well.
The upcoming Hyundai models, listed below, promise to bring Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to the mass market, making your journeys on Indian roads more secure.
1. Hyundai Creta Facelift
The 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift is set to make waves in the Indian automotive scene. With a sleek new design, including updated LED headlights and DRLs, a revamped grille, and eye-catching alloy wheels, the facelifted Creta will surely turn heads on the road. The inclusion of ADAS, USB Type-C chargers for rear seat occupants, and a 360-degree camera will take the Creta to the next level in terms of safety and convenience.
2. Hyundai Alcazar Facelift
The Hyundai Alcazar, which has been gaining popularity for its spacious and premium interior, is also set to receive a facelift. Expect fresh design elements, a split headlamp setup, an all-new front grille, and bumper tweaks that will enhance its aesthetics. Of course, ADAS is expected to be part of the package, ensuring that safety takes centre stage, along with a 360-degree parking camera.
3. Next-Gen Hyundai Kona EV
Hyundai’s second-generation Kona EV will also launch in the Indian market in the near future. The Kona’s design borrows cues from Hyundai’s Seven concept, featuring a slim front light bar and a revamped cabin with dual 12.3-inch displays. Apart from ADAS, and a host of other features, the new model will offer more power and driving range than the outgoing model, along with vehicle-to-load charging capability.
4. Hyundai Grand i10 Nios & i20
Earlier this year, Hyundai introduced the ADAS suite on the i10 hatchback for the international markets. We expect the same to happen for the India-spec Grand i10 Nios and i20 as well, but it might take a while. Active safety technology is extremely expensive and microchip-extensive, so we expect the carmaker to take its own sweet time to roll out ADAS on its budget-friendly models.
5. Hyundai Aura
Alongside the Nios, the Aura will also receive an ADAS suite. The subcompact sedan is a brilliant city commuter and comes standard with 6 airbags on all variants, which is already impressive for this segment. The addition of active safety will make this one of the best options around the Rs. 10 lakh mark.
6. Hyundai Exter
The Exter micro-SUV is one of the most exciting vehicles in Hyundai’s arsenal – affordable, bold-looking, and filled to the brim with features. It already comes standard with 6 airbags and ESP, and the addition of ADAS tech will make the deal even sweeter. Now all that’s missing is a more powerful engine, but let’s not get into that.
