The high performance Lexus LS F could take power from a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine

Lexus is likely to uncover a performance focused LS F at the Tokyo Motor Show. The high performance sedan is expected to be based on the 641 hp generating concept showcased by Toyota Motorsport GmbH several years ago. While the luxury car brand is tight lipped about the car, an image of this model has surfaced on Instagram sourced from a Japanese magazine.

As it appears, the Lexus LS F comes with a very aggressive stance. It gets a massive black spindle grille, sharp LED headlamps with LED daytime running lights. The large t win air dams with black mesh enhance the aggressiveness further along with sharp black splitter at the bottom.

The Lexus LS F performance sedan gets front fender vents, revised side skirts to achieve aerodynamic efficiency. Its large black alloy wheels along with subtly flared fenders certainly make the car very bold and muscular looking. There is a blackened glass area and a nicely curved roofline as well. Expect it to receive a sculpted back with sharp and sleek LED taillights and a muscular bumper. The Lexus LS F also appears with reduced ride height.

Speaking about the powertrain of this car, it could get power from a new 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that is capable of churning out 600 hp of peak power. If launched, this performance car will lock horns with rivals like Mercedes-AMG S63, BMW M760i and Audi S8 Plus.

Speculations are that Lexus could unveil the LS F in production guise or in concept form at the Tokyo Motor Show. Also, there are chances that it would be uncovered at North American International Motor Show in January 2018. Interestingly, the Japanese magazine reveals that the RC F was revealed in similar manner. Therefore, it could be a trick played by Lexus to garner interest among the enthusiasts.
