Hero MotoCorp’s all-new Karizma XMR is expected to launch in the coming months in India while the Yamaha R3 and R7 will be introduced soon too.

1. Hero Karizma XMR 210:

Hero MotoCorp has trademarked the Karizma XMR and Karizma XMR 210 names in India suggesting that the next generation of the faired motorcycle is currently under development. The speculations surrounding the Karizma have only grown in recent months and the trademark only reaffirms the possibility of the upcoming model.

It will more likely derive power from an all-new 210 cc single-cylinder Fi liquid-cooled engine. It will reportedly produce around 25 PS maximum power and 30 Nm of peak torque and will be mated to a six-speed transmission. The Karizma XMR will draw design cues from the original Karizma and it could be priced competitively against KTM RC 200, Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Pulsar RS 200.

2. Yamaha R3:

The latest Yamaha R3 was showcased at a dealer meet in India along with its bigger siblings such as R7 and R1 M recently. The 2023 Yamaha R3 is expected to launch soon in India and its bookings will commence in the coming months. It will compete against KTM RC 390, Kawasaki Ninja 300, TVS Apache RR 310 and BMW G310 RR.

The popular supersport is based on the same platform as its naked sibling, the MT03. It derives power from a 321 cc parallel twin-cylinder DOHC Fi engine, producing a maximum power output of 42 PS. It will be paired with a six-speed transmission. The features list will comprise an LCD cluster, dual-channel ABS, USD front forks, monoshock rear suspension, etc.

3. Yamaha R7:

The Yamaha R7 has been one of the most successful launches for the Japanese manufacturer in the global markets in recent years. With the unmistakable sleek styling the R series is known for, it has several commonalities with the MT07, which was also showcased to dealers, and it will be equipped with a 689 cc parallel-twin engine kicking out 74 PS max power.

4. Next-Gen KTM RC 390, RC 125 & RC 200:

The KTM RC series received a brand new generation only recently but it looks like the Austrian brand is currently working on its next iteration, judging by the spy images. We can only expect the next-gen RC 390, RC 200 and RC 125 to launch in India in late 2024 or 2025. It gets a heavily updated design and a host of mechanical revisions.
