The Indian car market is currently extremely busy and a number of carmakers are all set to launch and update a number of new offerings for buyers. As many as five new premium SUVs and MPVs will be launched in the country this year and here is everything you need to know.

1. BYD Atto 3

BYD recently introduced the new Atto 3 in the Indian market and will soon be starting with the deliveries of this electric SUV. The Atto 3 will take on the rivals like the MG ZS EV and the Hyundai Kona in the country. With a claimed range of more than 500 km on a single charge, the BYD Atto 3 is currently one of the most practical and feature-rich electric cars in India.

3. Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus

The Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus is currently one of the most talked about upcoming seven-seater cars in the country and is expected to hit the showrooms in the next couple of months. In addition to a more spacious cabin, the new Bolero Neo will also boast larger dimensions and a more powerful diesel engine. It will be positioned above the standard Bolero Neo in the Indian market.

3. Toyota Innova Hycross

The upcoming next-gen model of the new Innova is also expected to make its debut in India soon and will offer a long list of updates for buyers. To be called the Innova Hycross, this new MPV will be offered with hybrid powertrain options, a premium and feature-rich cabin, new exterior styling and a brand new platform that will help it offer better dynamics and comfort levels for the buyers.

4. MG Hector Facelift

The new MG Hector was teased by the brand a few weeks ago and is expected to make its debut in next few months. While the SUV will continue to be offered with same powertrain options, the buyers will get updated exterior styling, new features, updated cabin and better safety features including ADAS safety tech. The Hector facelift will be sold alongside the current iteration of the Hector and is expected to be around Rs 1.5-2 lakh more expensive.

5. Hyundai Kona Facelift

The Hyundai Kona was one of the initial electric cars to enter the Indian market and offers a premium and feature-rich package for the buyers.
