Honda launched the all-new, second-generation Amaze in the Indian market earlier this year and the car has become a top-selling car for the manufacturer. The all-new Amaze gets a new platform and looks very sharp. The all-new Amaze gets powered by the same engine options.

There is 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. For the first time ever in the sub Rs. 10 lakh segment, a car has been launched CVT automatic transmission with the diesel engine. The CVT automatic transmission is also available with the petrol version of the Honda Amaze.

The Santro is one of the biggest car launches of the 2018 year. The all-new hatchback is based on the discontinued i10 platform and gets the same 1.1-litre petrol engine too. The tall-boy design of the Hyundai Santro has made it quite popular in the market and it has already gained as much as 15,000 bookings since the price announcement.

Hyundai has also introduced the AMT automatic transmission with the all-new Santro for the first time in the Indian market. The AMT automatic version is extremely popular in the Santro and gets a share chunk of bookings.

5. Maruti Suzuki all-new Ertiga

Maruti Suzuki has launched the much-awaited all-new Ertiga in the Indian market recently. It gets the new HEARTECT platform making it much lighter than the outgoing version. The all-new Ertiga has also grown in size and has become roomier.

Maruti has put the all-new 1.5-litre petrol engine in the Ertiga that was introduced with the Maruti Ciaz earlier. The diesel variants remain powered by the same 1.3-litre Multijet, four-cylinder engine. The petrol Ertiga also gets a 4-speed automatic transmission.
