Royal Enfield is preparing to launch several new motorcycles in the 350 cc, 450 cc, and 650 cc segments. The iconic Classic range will see updates and be expanded with new models in the next six to nine months as well. Here is an overview of the four upcoming motorcycles from RE:
The Classic 350 marked Royal Enfield’s entry into the J-series engine platform, garnering positive feedback from customers since its debut in late 2021. Models such as the Meteor 350, Bullet 350, Hunter 350, and Classic 350 have enjoyed strong sales and are slated for mid-life updates in the near future.
The roadster is expected to be the first to receive a mid-cycle update in the coming months. Anticipated enhancements include new color schemes, additional features, and updated graphics. The existing 349 cc SOHC air- and oil-cooled engine, producing just over 20 hp and 27 Nm of torque, will remain unchanged and will continue to be paired with a five-speed transmission.
The Royal Enfield Classic 650 Twin, expected to debut in early 2025, will heavily draw design inspiration from its smaller sibling, the Classic 350. Expected features include a circular LED headlamp with chrome casing, pilot lamps, and halogen turn signals. Additionally, the motorcycle will boast a single-piece seat, spoked wheels, middle-set footpegs, and an upright handlebar.
The Royal Enfield Classic 650 Twin will be powered by the well-known 648 cc parallel twin-cylinder engine, delivering a maximum power output of 47 PS and 52 Nm of peak torque, paired with a six-speed transmission. The roadster will feature a subframe similar to that of the Shotgun 650 by the looks of things.
