Following the price announcement of Kia Seltos facelift in late July, the Citroen C3 Aircross and Honda Elevate will be launched in the coming months
The midsize SUV segment is the primary target of many mainstream carmakers and in the coming months, we will witness the launch of at least four new models in India.
1. Citroen C3 Aircross:
The prices of the Citroen C3 Aircross will be announced next month and it was revealed towards the end of April 2023 in India. The midsize SUV will be available in five- and seven-seater configurations and it will sit on the same CMP platform as the C3. In a similar fashion to its hatchback sibling, it is expected to be priced aggressively. It will be powered by a 1.2L turbo three-cylinder petrol engine, paired only with a six-speed manual transmission.
2. Honda Elevate:
The Honda Elevate made its local debut in early June 2023 and it is underpinned by the same platform as the fifth-generation City. The bookings for the five-seater have commenced at dealerships and online, and it will use a 1.5L NA four-cylinder VTEC petrol engine, pushing out 121 PS and 145 Nm. It is mated to a six-speed MT or a CVT. It takes design inspiration from the latest global WR-V and CR-V.
3. Tata Harrier Facelift:
Spotted testing multiple times, the facelifted Tata Harrier will more likely be revealed later this year. It will be influenced by the Tata Harrier EV concept showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo in terms of design. The interior will also receive a host of changes while an all-new 1.5L DI turbo petrol engine is also expected.
4. Kia Seltos Facelift:
Earlier this month, Kia lifted the cloaks off the Seltos facelift and its official bookings started only a few days ago. The brand has confirmed that more than 13,400 reservations were made on the very first day and its prices will be announced later this month.
It gets a redesigned exterior and interior while the features list has also been updated. The 2023 Kia Seltos is equipped with a new 1.5L turbo petrol engine producing 160 PS and 253 Nm and it will be linked with a six-speed iMT or a seven-speed DCT.
