Kia is expected to launch as many as three all-new cars next year in India and here we have brought you all the key information
Following the recent launch of the facelifted Kia Seltos, Kia is not slowing down and has plans to introduce new products in the coming year. The South Korean brand will likely unveil at least two to three new models over the next twelve months or so. Below, we have compiled all the known details:
1. Kia Sonet Facelift:
The Sonet has played an integral role in Kia registering good sales numbers every month. It is one of the most popular compact SUVs available in the domestic market. Kia introduced the Sonet in September 2020 and for nearly three years, it has not received any major updates. But the scenario will change soon.
The updated version of the Kia Sonet is scheduled to be globally unveiled before the end of this year. Consequently, it may hit the Indian market in early 2024 with exterior and interior revisions. While the powertrain lineup will remain unchanged, there are possibilities of advancements in the features list and overall premium nature.
2. New-Gen Kia Carnival:
Kia is currently in the process of developing the refreshed version of the fourth-generation Carnival, which is scheduled for launch in India next year. This marks a significant upgrade since only the previous generation was available locally. It will be more feature-rich than its predecessor, and notable exterior tweaks are also expected to enhance its overall appeal.
3. Kia EV9 Flagship Electric SUV:
At the 2023 Auto Expo, Kia unveiled the EV9 concept, and just one month later, the production version was introduced to the world. Built on the E-GMP platform, the car is available in both rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) configurations, boasting a claimed driving range of up to 541 km in the WLTP cycle.
