2024 Tata Harrier Dark Edition, Safari Dark Edition feature a black finished exterior and interior with unique touches as before
Tata Motors has today introduced the 2024 MY Dark Editions of the Harrier and Safari following their debut when the respective facelifts arrived late last year. They are available at a starting price of Rs. 19.99 lakh and Rs. 20.69 lakh respectively (ex-showroom, Delhi). Back in 2019, the Tata Harrier Dark Edition made its debut and it has been a trendsetter for dark themed special editions.
Understanding its popularity, Tata expanded the Dark Edition to other models in 2021. The 2024 Dark range comes with it a host of enhancements inside and out as the signature #Dark mascot and dark exterior treatment can be seen in all four newly introduced Dark models (Nexon, Nexon EV, Harrier and Safari).

Based on the OMEGA architecture, the Harrier and Safari are the current flagship ICE offerings for the homegrown manufacturer. Thus, both of them boast top-of-the-range features and technologies including segment first features such as Welcome and Goodbye Signature Animation on Front and Rear LED DRLs, LED DRLs with centre position lamp in the front, and a driver knee airbag, 10-speaker JBL audio with Harman AudioworX, 19-inch alloy wheels featuring Aero inserts and a piano black finished grille.
The equipment list comprises dual zone automatic climate control, touch-based central control panel with multifunction, and leatherette seats adorned with the #Dark logo on the headrests. In addition, the new Safari Dark Edition offers comfort headrests in the 2nd row for added relaxation during long journeys along with second row ventilated seats for increased comfort and convenience.
The exterior is finished in Bold Oberon Black paint scheme while the interior comes with a dark theme as well alongside piano black accents. With no mechanical changes, the 2.0L Fiat-sourced four-cylinder diesel engine continues to produce 170 PS and 350 Nm. It is connected to a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter AT.
