The 2023 Hyundai Grand i10 adorns a myriad of changes inside and out and is loaded with segment-best technologies and safety features

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) introduced the new Grand i10 Nios at an introductory starting price of Rs. 5.68 lakh (ex-showroom) and it comes loaded with best-in-class safety features and a slew of revisions inside and out. Launched in 2019, the compact hatchback has been one of the top sellers in its segment and the refreshed model will further accentuate its appeal.

The 2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios gains a redesigned front grille finished in black colour, newly designed LED Daytime Running Lights integrated onto the revised bumper, sweptback projector headlamps, all-new 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels further enhancing its road presence, a shark fin antenna, updated rear bumper and connected tail lamp design inspired by the Venue facelift.

The cabin of the facelifted Hyundai Grand i10 Nios gets a myriad of features pertaining to comfort, convenience, entertainment and safety. The new inclusions are footwell lighting, grey upholstery with Nios branding, leather-wrapped steering wheel and metal finish to the inside door handles. It also comes with an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Facelift 1The 2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios features cruise control, Type C USB fast charger, wireless smartphone charger, smart key with push button start/ stop, an automatic climate control system, voice recognition, a 3.5-inch cluster with MID and rear AC vents. To ensure peace of mind for the customers, the new Grand i10 Nios comes with a standard vehicle warranty of three years that can be extended up to seven years.

The packed safety features list comprises four airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill Start Assist Control (HAC) and reverse parking sensors, TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) in Highline, automatic headlamps, ISOFIX child seat anchorage, anti-lock brakes and central locking.

Other onboard safety tech includes immobilizer, keyless entry, burglar alarm, driver and co-passenger seatbelt reminder and pretensioners, impact and speed sensing auto door lock, ESS (Emergency Stop Signal), day & night inside rearview mirror, headlamp escort function and rear defogger. The exterior is available with a new Spark Green colour and the existing 1.2-litre four-cylinder Kappa petrol engine is RDE compliant and E20 fuel ready.

The solo petrol mill, which is frugal and sprightly, develops 83 PS at 6,000 rpm and 113.8 Nm at 4,000 rpm and is paired with a five-speed manual transmission as standard and a five-speed AMT as an option. The CNG variant uses the same engine to kick out 69 PS at 6,000 rpm and 95.2 Nm at 4,000 rpm and is linked only with a five-speed MT.
