The 2023 Honda Unicorn gets OBD2 compliant 160 cc engine and is available in four colour schemes; gets an industry-first up to 10 years warranty
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has announced the launch of the new OBD2-compliant 2023 Unicorn in the domestic market. The motorcycle carries a price tag of Rs. 1,09,800 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Speaking on the launch, Tsutsumu Otani – President, CEO & Managing Director, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India said:

The 2023 Honda Unicorn comes with anti-lock brakes for better braking performance. It is equipped with tubeless tyres at the front and rear. The monoshock suspension at the rear is housed below the seat and mounted on the diamond frame. The commuter motorcycle has a ground clearance of 187 mm while the wheelbase stands at 1,335 mm.
Complementing the long wheelbase is the 715 mm long seat. The 2023 Honda Unicorn comes with seal chain which needs less frequent adjustments and low maintenance. The engine start/stop switch provides better convenience. As for the design, it gets a broad front cowl with a smoked screen and a bold-looking fuel tank.
Other highlights are chrome stroke on the side cover, chrome garnish on the front cowl and 3D Honda Wing Mark on the fuel tank. The Japanese manufacturer offers the 2023 Unicorn with a warranty package of ten years (3-year standard and 7-year extended warranty as an option). The 2023 Honda Unicorn has been made available in a total of four colour schemes.
They are Pearl Igneous Black, Imperial Red Metallic, Mat Axis Gray Metallic & Pearl Siren Blue. As for the performance, the familiar 160 cc fuel-injected single-cylinder engine is utilised and it now complies with OBD2 regulations. For smooth power delivery, it uses a rocker arm which helps in the reduction of friction losses. It also gets counterweight balancer for reduced vibrations and to deliver smooth acceleration from low to high rpm.
