Toyota commenced production of 2019 Land Cruiser and 2019 Lexus LX 570 Black Edition S as the first batch has already arrived in the Middle East, which is one of the important markets for these full-sized SUVs. The LX 570 is basically a Land Cruiser underneath, but the company has made lots of changes to make it premium.

The 2019 Land Cruiser get new chrome finished front grille with smaller slats compared to the outgoing model and a new bumper. The company has also given small graphics just below the window line and it might be specific to variants. The rear continues to be same design theme as the previous model except for minor changes for spoiler and bumper.

The interior is carried over from its predecessor and it comes with a touchscreen infotainment system, but Toyota is still not offering Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Land Cruiser comes with a long list of features like dual-zone climate control, leather seats, cruise control, sunroof, reverse camera and more.

The engine lineup might vary depending on the market as the Middle East and US models might come with same 5.7 L V8 petrol engine producing 381 hp of power at 5,600 rpm and 543 Nm of torque at 3,600 rpm. The power is sent to all four wheels via 8 speed automatic gearbox and 0-100 kph in 6.5 sec. The Land Cruiser also comes with lots of off-road modes like Land Rover.

Lexus 570 Black Edition S comes with a black finish for spindle grille, LED headlamps and door pad. The Black Edition S also comes with an extra body kit on front, side and rear. The company has also given faux air-intakes and new bigger alloy wheels, which also looks really good. The rear also gets a new muscular bumper.

The interior changes include new red and black leather seats with aluminium pedals. The Black S Edition also gets rear entertainment package with the dual screen placed on the back of front seats. Lexus is yet to confirm on engines, but some reports indicate that it might be powered by the same engine from Land Cruiser.
