2019 Tata Hexa comes with minor changes like new 17-inch and 19-inch alloy wheels, 7-inch touch screen system, dual-tone body colour options, etc

Tata Motors has launched 2019 MY of Hexa at the starting price of Rs. 12.99 lakh for the base XE 4X2 and it goes up to Rs. 18.37 lakh for the XT 4X4 (both prices, ex-showroom Delhi). The company has made so many changes for the Hexa compared to the earlier model but all of them are limited to aesthetics and feature revisions.

The top end manual variant of XT now comes with 17-inch charcoal grey alloy wheels while the automatic variant of XT comes with 19-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. The Hexa also gets dual tone colour options – Infinity Black and Titanium Grey, but it is available only on the XT variants. The Infinity Black roof colour comes with the option of Pearl White or Tungsten Silver body colour options.

The Titanium Grey roof colour gets the option of three body colours – Arizona Blue, Urban Bronze and Sky Grey. The interior also gets minor updates as the Hexa now come with 7-inch Harman sourced infotainment system with Android Auto connectivity along with features like video playback, support for multiple apps, emergency assistance and more.

Tata Motors is offering fast charging in Hexa as most of the smartphone these days support this feature. The Hexa has also retained the 10-speaker JBL audio system, which is one of the best music systems in its segment. Apart from this, the AC vents in the centre console and touch screen also gets bright chrome ring around it.

The three spoke multi-function steering wheel come with piano black finish also. Earlier the mood lighting comes with the option of 8 colour options but in 2019 MY only offer one colour option. Tata Motors is offering Hexa with safety features like 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Program, Roll-over Mitigation, Traction Control, Hill Descent and Hill Hold Control.

The 2.2 L VARICOR 320 engine has been discontinued and now the Hexa is available only with 2.2 L VARICOR 400 engine, which produces 150 PS of power and 400 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox with the option of four-wheel drive system also. The company has increased the price of top-end XT variant by Rs. 20,000.
