2019 Maruti Suzuki Baleno Delta Variant Offers Lot of Premium Features

The 2019 Delta variant of Baleno comes loaded with lots of premium features as standard, priced at Rs. 6.16 Lakh for petrol & 7.31 Lakh for diesel

Maruti Suzuki officially launched the Baleno facelift model last month and the company has made some changes for the exterior design theme like new front grille, redesigned front and rear bumper along with new alloy wheels also. Along with this, they have revised the features list also and in this article, we take a look at the standard features on the Delta variant of Baleno.

The exterior features include body coloured door handles, OVRMs and bumper along with chrome accent on the front grille, turn indicators on ORVM, projector headlamp with a light guide, LED rear combination lamp, metal finish for the inside door handle, metal finish for the tipped parking brake, auto folding ORVMs and full-size wheel cover.

The interior features include new audio system with MP3/FM/Touch Buttons, Bluetooth, USB and Aux, steering mounted audio controls, central locking, remote keyless entry, all four-door power windows with auto-up for the driver side window, tilt steering wheel, front and rear adjustable headrest, Auto climate AC control, 60:40 split rear seat, front and rear accessory socket.

The safety features include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, immobilizer, dual horn, manual headlamp levelling, driver and co-driver seat belt reminder, reverse parking sensors, rear wiper and washer, rear defogger, ISOFIX child seat tether anchorage, high speed warning with alerts and pinch guard power window (Driver only).

The Baleno facelift model is available in six colour options – NEXA Blue, Autumn Orange, Premium Silver, Phoenix Red, Magma Grey and Arctic White. The premium hatchback measures 3995 mm length, 1745 mm width, 1510 mm height and 2520 mm wheelbase. The boot space of Baleno is 339 L and it can be expanded by folding down rear seats.

Maruti Suzuki retained the same engine lineup for facelift model as it is powered by 1.2 L K-Series engine producing 83 PS of power at 6,000 rpm and 115 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The diesel engine is 1.3 L unit with 75 PS at 4,000 rpm and 190 Nm at 2,000 rpm. These engines are mated to 5-speed manual as standard and CVT with petrol model. The petrol Delta variant is priced at Rs. 6.16 lakh and Rs. 7.31 lakh (both, Ex-Showroom) for the diesel variant.
