Kawasaki officially launched 2019 Ninja 1000 in India at Rs. 9.99 lakh (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). The new model is launching in India on same day as global launch. The Japanese manufacturer hasn’t increased price of new model as they are able to position it on same price thanks to assembling of 2019 MY at its Pune plant.
The Ninja 1000 takes design inspiration from ZX-10 R and Ninja H2 as the company has given chin spoilers along with dual LED headlamp which gives sporty look for the new model. Kawasaki hasn’t changed internals of Ninja 1000 as they are keeping same suspension and brake system from previous model as they already go well with the overall package.

Kawasaki Ninja 1000 is powered by 1043 cc 16 valve inline four liquid cooled, fuel injected engine producing 140 bhp of power at 10,000 rpm and 111 Nm of torque at 7,300 rpm. This engine is mated to 6 speed gearbox. The company is offering assist and slipper clutch for excellent gear shifting which was already available in previous model.
The Ninja 1000 comes with three mode traction control system as the first and second mode is for performance with safety features toned down but the third mode is used for slippery riding conditions. Kawasaki also offers intelligent ABS system which is designed for Ninja 1000 and it comes with 19 litres of fuel tank.

Kawasaki Ninja 1000 comes with upside down forks at front and mono suspension at rear which is tuned for handling and comfort. The braking power comes from 300 mm twin disc at front and 250 mm disc at rear. The company has given 17 inch alloywheels with 120/70 section tyre at front and 190/50 section tyre at rear. The 2019 MY of Ninja 1000 is available in two colours – black and green
