Hyundai has revealed facelifted version of the Tucson crossover and as expected it does not depart by a country mile compared to its predecessor. It is one of the top-selling models for the South Korean auto major in international markets and updating it is essential in having the ball rolling.
Unveiled at the 2018 NYIAS (New York International Auto Show), the 2019 Hyundai Tucson comes equipped with new headlamps, LED Daytime Running Lights, reworked bumpers up front and rear, revised tail lamps, etc. Overall, the cosmetic modifications do bring added dynamism to the premium sporty crossover. In the United States market, two engine options have been made available to customers.

The entry-level Value and SE are retailed only with the 2.0-litre engine while the other variants receive the new 2.4-litre mill. The important safety features present as standard are Lane Keeping Assist and Forward Collision Avoidance while optionally buyers can go for High Beam Assist, Rain Sensing wipers, Surround View Monitor, Smart Cruise with Stop and Go, Driver attention warning, Forward Collision Avoidance with Pedestrian Detection, etc.

The Tucson gets only the front-wheel drive setup in all but AT GLS Diesel variant. Competing against the likes of Jeep Compass, Volkswagen Tiguan and Honda CR-V, the facelifted Tucson is expected to enter Indian shores sometime early next year.
