Honda will be introducing the production-spec Insight sedan at the 2018 New York International Auto Show and its official pictures are already out in the open. It is the road-going version of the Insight prototype showcased in Detroit in the first month of this year.
It will be launched in the United States market this summer and positioned between the highly-popular Civic and Accord. Under the bonnet, the 2019 Insight uses a two-motor hybrid system combined with a 1.5-litre petrol engine that runs on the Atkinson cycle.

Drive is sent to the wheels via one of the three modes: Normal, Econ and Sport. Based on the driving circumstances, selectors mounted on the steering wheel offer three levels of regenerative braking for additional assistance.

The 2019 Honda Insight is also claimed to have best-in-class leg room and the cabin features an eight-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, seven-inch digital display, premium soft touch materials, etc.
