2019 Ford Figo Facelift Launched In India; Priced From Rs. 5.15 Lakh

New Ford Figo Blu

The Figo hatchback adorns evolutionary exterior changes to its design along with boasting two new petrol engines

Ever since the Aspire facelift came into existence, the updated Figo has also been anticipated to follow soon but Ford has taken more than five months between the two launches. Just as the Aspire, the entry-level offering from Ford in India gets cosmetic revisions alongside tweaks to the interior and it is priced between Rs. 5.15 Lakh to Rs. 8.09 Lakh.

However, the biggest change can be found under the bonnet as the American auto major has added two new petrol engines to the Figo’s lineup. This ups the powertrain choices to a total of three, and the bigger 1.5-litre petrol engine will only be sold in the Titanium trim paired to a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

It produces a maximum power of 123 PS and 150 Nm making it the most powerful in its segment while the 1.2-litre petrol from Freestyle develops 96 PS and 120 Nm. The 1.5-litre diesel, on the other hand, pumps out 100 PS and 215 Nm and it is claimed to return 25.5 kmpl fuel efficiency.
