Bajaj dealers already had a huge stock of existing version of Pulsar 150 which result in the delay of MY19 deliveries

According to our sources, Bajaj Auto will start the deliveries of their updated 2019 Pulsar 150 range from mid-January 2019 onward. For those of you who are unaware of the fact, Bajaj has updated their entire Pulsar 150 range for the upcoming year.

Their 150 range comprises of three variants which include the Pulsar 150 Classic, the Pulsar 150 and the Pulsar 150 Twin-discs. While Bajaj wants to commence the deliveries of their updated Pulsar range, the Bajaj dealers on the other hand already has a huge stock of existing versions of unsold Pulsar 150 with them.

As far as the updated 2019 Pulsar 150 models are concerned the top end twin disc variant gets a revised graphics, a newly sculpted belly pan and split grab rails instead of the conventional single one which can be seen on the existing models. Apart from the new graphics the side panels of the updated twin disc model also feature a new faux carbon-fiber texture on them that adds a touch of premium feel to this commuter.

The 150 Classic on the other hand now gets grab rails, branding, rims tapes and side panel grille finished in red color. Just like the Pulsar Classic expect the standard Pulsar 150 to also receive the same kind of cosmetic treatment as well. Apart from these few cosmetic updates, Bajaj has given no other mechanical updates to their 2019 Pulsar range.

The 2019 Pulsar 150 is still powered by the same 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that generates about 14PS of peak power at 8,000rpm and 13.4Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle gets a 240 mm disc brake towards the front and 153 mm drum brakes towards the rear (the twin disc variant gets a 260 mm front disc and 240 mm rear disc). Surprisingly Bajaj still does not offer ABS on any of their 150 Pulsar models yet.
