Yamaha has restyled Tracer 900 to make it more appealing and added the 900GT variant
Yamaha has restyled the Tracer 900 and added a new variant to the model christened as Tracer 900GT. The Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer says the new Tracer 900 comes with subtle updates and offers more comfortable riding experience compared to the previous model. On the Tracer 900GT comes offering bit extra over the standard Tracer 900.
Speaking about the all-new Yamaha Tracer 900, it comes with refreshed styling appearing sharper and more attractive. The brand claims, this gets better wind protection thanks to the adjustable windscreen. The updated suspension thanks to adjustable front forks and a longer swingarm increases this sports tourer’s riding comfort further. It also offers a hard luggage box fitting option enhancing the practicality.

Side mounted luggage box comes as standard in the Tracer 900GT along with couple of other goodies. The Yamaha Tracer 900 also comes with narrower handlebars with lighter and slimmer hand guards. The updated body panel design ensures improved aerodynamic efficiency. The spacious and well cushioned seats have been updated to offer more comfort to both the rider and passenger and passenger footrest come with updated appearance. Also, there are new grab rail at the back.
The slim and lightweight CF die-cast aluminium frame, new rear fender ensures the bike is lightweight and well capable of handling. The 18-litre capacity large fuel tank offers a long running range. No wonder, these things enhance the sports tourer’s practicality to another level.

The Yamaha Tracer 900 gets Assist and Slipper clutch. It draws energy from an 847 cc three-cylinder, liquid-cooled four-valve engine. Safety enhancing technologies available in this bike include a three-mode traction control system, cruise control and ABS as standard. The Tracer 900 GT gets heated grips that are something that make this new variant of the Tracer 900 interesting. It comes with D-Mode selectable running modes and quick shifter. The Tracer 900 will be available in market from March 2018, while the Tracer 900GT will be available from June 2018.
