All-new Toyota Hilux Revo gets inspiration from Toyota Tacoma; receives several feature updates enhancing upmarketness
Toyota has unveiled the new Hilux Revo pickup truck in Thailand with several exterior and interior updates. The refreshed pickup truck becomes more attractive and upmarket compared to the pre-facelift model with these changes. As it appears, the Toyota Hilux Revo has received heavy inspiration from the Japanese brand’s Tacoma pickup truck. The refreshed pickup comes priced from Rs. 13.44 lakh.
Toyota updated the pickup truck ahead of the schedule as the current eighth generation model of Hilux Revo couldn’t deliver desired sales result. Speaking about the changes, it comes with revised front fascia that enhances the vehicle’s masculinity further. It sports a bolder, larger and new chrome garnished hexagonal front grille flanked by sharp headlamps with projector units and integrated LED daytime running lights.

The front bumper has become much more sculpted looking and there are compact and small fog lamps with C shaped chrome trims. The rear of the vehicle doesn’t boast any eye-catching change at all and it runs on new design sporty alloy wheels. There is a Rocco variant of the car on offer as well that gets black sport bar on offer along with black plastic cladding over the wheel arches and rear bumper and Rocco decals at side profiles. Also it comes running on 18-inch wheels wrapped with all-terrain tyres.
Not only exterior, inside the cabin too Toyota Hilux Revo gets several updates. It sports a new multifunction steering wheel, digital MID at instrument cluster, push start button, cooled glovebox, rear AC vents. It gets different driving modes as well. On the safety front, Toyota Hilux Revo features 7 airbags, traction control, vehicle stability control, trailer sway control, hill-start assist control and downhill assist control.

On the powertrain front, Toyota Hilux Revo comes retaining the same engines as the pre-facelift model. These include a 2.7-litre petrol engine, 2.4-litre diesel motor and a 2.8-litre diesel engine as well.
