The Swift has always been one of the most popular hatchbacks around the world for its design, handling and performance. Suzuki revealed new generation of Swift in 2016 and in stock mode, the Swift already looks really good. Caroline Corporation based in Thailand manufacturer body kits for various models and they have introduced Zercon body kit for Swift.

The body kit includes front, side and rear skirts finished in black colour with red colour on lower part of the body kit. The wheel arches get black cladding, which does make the Swift look wider and the front skirt has LED DRLs integrated into it. The rear bumper is different than stock model along with faux twin exhaust.

The company has also given black finish for roof and red colour for mirrors. To increase sporty look, Swift gets 10 spoke black alloy wheels with red inner lines also. The Swift showcased with this body kit is based on GL variant and it misses out on front fog lamps, projector headlamps, LED DRLs on headlamp, alloy wheel and indicator on mirrors.

Caroline Corporation hasn’t given details about interior whether they have made any changes. The GL spec Swift misses out on music system, so we can expect an aftermarket touch screen system along with new seat covers. In Thailand, Suzuki is offering petrol engine option with Swift as it is 1.2 L K-series engine producing 83 PS of power and 108 Nm of torque.

The power is sent to front wheels via CVT automatic transmission as Suzuki is not offering manual option with Swift. The body kit certainly improves sporty appeal of Swift and it looks like Mini Cooper especially in white colour. We can expect this type of body kit to be available in Indian market also.

In India, Maruti is offering Swift in both petrol and diesel variants with option of manual and AMT transmission. The Swift is based on Heartect platform and it is lighter than previous model which improve performance and efficiency. Maruti Suzuki Swift competes against Hyundai Grand i10, Volkswagen Polo and Ford Figo in India.
