Suzuki Hayabusa has been one of the most iconic sportsbikes in the world market for quite long time. Suzuki has started assembling the Hayabusa locally in 2017 and it became the brand’s first ‘Made-in-India’ big bike last year. The bike is imported here as CKD (Completely Knocked Down) kits and assembled at Manesar plant in Gurugram. While the addition of two new paint schemes certainly added more appeal to this bike, no other major changes are there.

Suzuki Hayabusa draws power from a 1,340 cc in-line four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected DOHC engine that churns out 197 bhp of peak power at 9,500 rpm and 155 Nm of peak torque at 7,200 rpm. The engine has been refined in the 2018 Hayabusa to deliver effortless and smoother acceleration. For transmission duty, this model gets a 6-speed gearbox.

The disc brakes come combined with dual-channel ABS enhancing safety for the rider and the machine as well. Suspension duty is done by inverted telescopic front forks with oil damping technology, while rear gets link type coil spring.

The bike runs on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped with high performance tubeless tyres. So far, new Suzuki Hayabusa comes re-energizing the appeal of this popular premium bike.
