2018 Indian Roadmaster Elite Launched In India At Rs. 48 Lakh

Indian Motorcycle has today introduced the Roadmaster Elite in the domestic market. The launch comes after the American manufacturer teasing the model at the beginning of the year in India and is finally here.

The Roadmaster Elite is one of the lucrative motorcycles from the brand worldwide and it debuted in 2017. It comes brimmed with premium features and luxury elements. The exclusivity of the model is so much that Indian makes only 300 examples of the Roadmaster Elite.

2018-indian-roadmaster-elite-1However, only one unit has been signed up for India and it has already been sold out. The most notable of the luxury bits are the 23 karat gold leaf badgings. They can be found in the lower engine covers and fuel tank.

In comparison to the regular Roadmaster, the Elite version gets a dual-tone blue colour scheme. The main features are Indian’s very own Command system with Bluetooth connectivity, 300 W speaker and USB port.

Complementing the connectivity features are full LED lighting, electrically adjustable windshield, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), cruise control, navigation, standard panniers, floorboards for both rider and passenger, passenger armrests, heated seats and grips, etc.

While the standard Roadmaster is priced at around Rs. 40 lakh in India (ex-showroom), the Elite version costs around Rs. 8 lakh in excess at Rs. 48 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India). The all-important powertrain is the same unit found in the regular version.

The Indian Roadmaster Elite derives power from a 1,811 cc Thunder stroke V-twin engine, which is good enough to produce a maximum torque of 139 Nm.
