The premium hatchback segment has been one of the most evolved in terms of sales courtesy of the arrival of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. With Tata introducing one of its own, the rivalry is only getting intensified.
In response, Hyundai, which pioneered the segment, has revealed a facelifted version of its top-selling Elite i20 to match the equipment offering of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. Here is everything you need to know about the 2018 Hyundai Elite i20:
The updated Elite i20 features the new single-frame hexagonal ‘cascading grille’ positioned between the sleeker projector lamps and LED Daytime Running Lights with multi-spoke alloy wheels. The Hyundai badge is situated between the bonnet and grille gap unlike the new i30 or the latest Verna and Elantra.
It goes in line with the design of the facelifted i10 and Xcent while the bumper is redesigned and angular too. The newly designed set of alloy wheels similar to the Mercedes-Benz CLA add sporty panache. The rear-end has received re-positioned number plate from bumper to boot lid and new tail lamp graphics.
