First 123 customers can order the new Ford EcoSport on Amazon; booking will be available for 24 hours from tomorrow
Ford India has tied up with Amazon to sell its new EcoSport compact SUV online. The first 123 units of the facelifted version will be available for booking online for 24 hours starting 5th November. These 123 customers will be the first to receive the new Ford EcoSport post its scheduled launch on 9th November. Ford is expecting to grab the attention of the young age buyers with such move.
Interested customers will be able to book the EcoSport facelift by paying an amount of Rs. 10,000 using the payment options available on Amazon. Also, they will be able to choose any colour or variant through the online marketing platform. As Ford says, this 24 hour online booking will help the automaker to offer something unique and exclusive for the Amazon audience.

Availability of booking of cars or bikes using online marketing platform is nothing new in India. We have seen several two-wheeler manufacturers resorting to various online platforms for selling their motorcycles and scooters alongside the conventional dealerships. Popular cars like Renault Kwid too used online marketing platform. The Ford EcoSport facelift comes as the latest addition to that list.
The new Ford EcoSport comes wearing an updated new design that makes it more appealing, upmarket and stylish compared to the pre-facelift version. It wears a new front fascia with sharper headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights, a new front grille and revised fog lamps. Side and rear profile of the SUV come similar as the current model.

Inside the cabin too, facelifted Ford EcoSport becomes much more appealing than the current model thanks to the introduction of a new SYNC3 touchscreen infotainment system with various connectivity options, improved quality seat and upholstery materials. On the powertrain front, the new 1.5-litre Dragon series petrol engine enhances this SUV’s appeal further.
