The A-pillar is noticeably peculiar while the high ground clearance and big wheels elevate the Concept Future S’ urban SUV status. Maruti Suzuki says it also has high seating position enabling better view of the road during off-roading scenarios perhaps.

Up front, the Concept Future S has a dynamic and upright fascia with sharp LED headlamps, a butch front bumper and fog lamp housing surrounded in white accents. Sticking with the orange body colour, the oval shaped fog lamps and alloy wheels get sporty orange accents.

The plastic underbody protection and raised pillars further stress the concept’s SUV characteristics and room on the inside and the glass area is completely painted black along with the thin B-pillar.

The skid plates can be seen on the sides as well as the rear profile while the body panels are sharp complementing the flared wheel arches. The short bonnet and number of tiny holes in the grille area up front are other important design elements of the brand new concept. The tail lamps follows the same housing pattern as the one up front and is visually striking to say the least. The smooth rear glass area, orange-accented design cues and black bumper with integrated skid plate compound a sporty overall package.Maruti-Suzuki-Future-S-Concept-Rear.jpg

Maruti Suzuki says it was inspired by the theme of ‘bold and exciting’ while developing the interior. The structural elements in the interior allow for the strong build of an SUV with layered wrap and dynamic lines entice the young band of customers. The Human Machine Interface (HMI) is the integral part of the interior design.

The orange colour scheme has been carried over to the inside with a dual tone appearance accompanying ivory. The orange coloured steering wheel is nothing short of futuristic while the dashboard area above the glovebox and door sides have orange touches.
