New Triumph Bonneville 3

With the Street Cup, the all-new 2017 Triumph Bonneville T100 India launch has been set for third week of October; powered by a 900cc parallel-twin engine

Triumph is all set to launch the Bonneville T100 and Street Cup on 18th October, 2016. While internationally Triumph will offer both T100 and T100 Black, in India the latter one is unlikely to launch. The two-wheeler manufacturer recently unveiled all the three models including Street Cup, Bonneville T100 and T100 Black at 2016 Intermot in Cologne earlier this month.

The all-new Bonneville T100 comes lighter compared to T120, and in terms of design it takes inspiration from T120. The motorcycle sports large round headlamp, twin-pod instrument cluster, a beefy and thick fuel tank, long flat seat. The Triumph Bonneville T100 also features bolt-on Triumph badges, retro-styled chrome mirrors, headlight bezel, mudguards, brushed aluminium covers and handlebars, and the motorcycle runs on classic spoke wheels.

Upcoming Street Cup on the other hand looks quite attractive with its retro café racer appearance. The motorcycle borrows design cue from Triumph’s flagship café racer Thruxton R. It also sports round headlamp, twin-pod instrument cluster, thick and muscular fuel tank, round LED taillight. Both the models come very much powerful looking with their beefy appearance.

The retro-looking motorcycles come with old-era charm and both the models take inspiration from 1950’s Bonneville. Triumph Bonneville T100 and Street Cup share the same engine like their sibling Street Twin. Both the models get power from same 900cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled Euro-4 compliant engine, which churns out 54 bhp of peak power and 80 Nm of peak torque at 3,200 rpm.
