Suzuki is taking an aggressive strategy for Indian market and it plans to assemble more superbikes in the country. As several international brands like Benelli, Kawasaki, Triumph throwing some serious challenge, Suzuki is emphasizing on localized production. Assembling the Hayabusa locally is a part of that plan and with this strategy the company is able to keep pricing competitive.

The Suzuki Hayabusa takes on rival like ZX-14R, which is priced at Rs. 17.90 lakhs (ex-showroom, New Delhi). With much lowered price compared to its rival, Suzuki expects to draw more customers toward the Hayabusa. Presently the bike’s waiting period is 45 days, which the company is trying to reduce soon.
