The new KTM 390 Duke is seen in a glossy black shade at a Bengaluru dealership; whether the colour is a dealer level custom or an official one is yet unknown

The 2017 edition of KTM 390 Duke naked streetfighter won a lot of hearts with its launch in India as it packs in a lot of interesting features and has been launched at a justified price point. At the time of launch, this motorcycle was available in a single shade of orange only.

However, a few days after its launch, the motorcycle was spotted in a white shade at a few dealerships and it was later revealed that the said paint scheme was meant for exports markets and reached the said outlets by mistake. Now, the bike has just been snapped at a dealership in Bengaluru in a black colour and needless to say, it looks sinister.

However, it is unclear at the moment whether this is a dealer level mod or an after market job. There is also a chance that KTM might have plans to introduce this black colour officially for the Indian market, keeping in mind the popularity of the 390 Duke here.

The headlamp cowl, front fender and the fuel tank have been drenched in glossy black colour. The frame of the motorcycle is painted in orange while the extended frame can be seen in white. The tail end cowl of the bike is orange as against white shade that officially comes in the India spec model. Even the rims of this motorcycle have been painted in black.

The 2017 KTM 390 Duke is indeed the most value for money bike in its segment as the machine has so much to offer against the price it comes with. The prime highlights of the motorcycle include a full LED headlamp, dual disc brakes with ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), a full coloured TFT screen that serves as a cockpit, a slipper clutch and a lot more. Furthermore, the motorcycle supports smartphone connectivity as well.

The 2017 KTM 390 Duke is currently available in India at Rs. 2.29 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Now what remains to be seen is whether KTM announces this colour officially here or this just turns out to be another dealer mod.
