Chevrolet Colorado High Country STORM comes distinctive looking with black accessory package; powered by a 2.5-litre DURAMAX diesel engine
Chevrolet has unveiled its Colorado High Country STORM pickup truck in Thailand ahead of its public debut at upcoming Bangkok International Motor Show later this month. Upon its launch, the pickup truck is going to be the range-topping Chevy Colorado pickup truck in the country market.
Compared to the regular model, it appears with a very distinctive stance, thanks to the black accessory package enhancing its visual appeal. The accessory package include blackened 18-inch sporty alloy wheels, a black painted sport bar, blackened door handles and tailgate handle, sporty body graphics painted in black. Apart from that, the Chevrolet Colorado High Country STORM also sports outer belt moulding and a rear bumper with parking sensor finished in black.

The STORM version of the pickup truck gets a new badge as well, making it different from the regular model. Also, the American automaker has given this muscular vehicle a brand new body colour christened as ‘Blue Me Away’. Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck is already pretty popular in the country and with the arrival of the STORM version, the company is expecting to boost the vehicle’s appeal further.
Inside the cabin, the upcoming Chevrolet Colorado High Country STORM gets extensive black treatment like the exterior. The features on offer include a Chevrolet MyLink touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Siri Eyes Free. It also comes with three airbags, Forward Collision Alert and Lane Departure Warning like safety features.

Power source for the Chevrolet Colorado High Country STORM is the 2.5-litre DURAMAX turbocharged four-cylinder Euro IV emission norm compliant diesel engine, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The engine is capable of churning out 180 hp of peak power at 3,600 rpm and 440 Nm of peak torque at 2,000 rpm. It will be available in both 2WD and AWD configurations.
