2016 Volkswagen Polo and Vento Launched With Touch Screen Units

Volkswagen isn’t shying away every time when it comes to refreshing its vehicles again and again. After refreshing products almost every year since inception, the brand continues to do so. Since the brand has a limited amount of models to sell, it continues away with this strategy. Volkswagen has a limited model count for the Indian market that it has in global stable to sell. All of that it set to change with the new Made in India Ameo, the compact sedan.

So what has Volkswagen done this time to make things more spicier on their hot selling models? Well, for example, this time it is clearly the interior which has taken a leap in terms of equipment. The quality, the layout, the steering and everything else remains the same. This time the features are here which are seen on cars in the segment higher. An idea which is always the start pointing for the upgrades every time when Volkswagen decides to introduce new features.

2015 Volkswagen Vento Facelift

Features set include, Mirror Link connectivity, which basically mirrors your phone home screen and other screens that the your smartphone has. There is the new touch screen with infotainment system and has all the connectivity options. Phone book and SMS reader also comes along wit the new touch screen package. The other set of features include the new rain sensing wipers, automatic dimming inside rear view mirror. The rest remains the same with the 2016 Volkswagen Polo and Vento.

The engines on offer are the same 1.2 TSi with turbocharged petrol motor and 7-speed DSG gearbox. The 1.5 Diesel with manual gearbox continues in the Polo while the Vento get the same engine with DSG gearbox too. The 1.6 Mpi automatic also stays with the Vento. Prices remain similar as the Polo starts with 5.33 lakhs and ends at 8.90 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi. The Vento stars at 7.85 lakhs and end at 12.35 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi.
