2016 Renault Duster facelift coming this year, will face heat from Creta & S-Cross

Renault Duster has been spied again in India. Duster competes with the like of Mahindra Scorpio, Hyundai Creta and and its own cousin, the Terrano. All of these cars have seen changes or the other in many ways and its time Duster comes back. After launching limited edition and mild refreshed variant, the proper facelift is on its way. The 2016 Renault Duster will come with same 1.5 diesel engine with 85 PS and 110 PS which can make more power and surely delivery more efficiency. 2016 Renault Duster will also come with either a AMT gearbox or a dual clutch gearbox. LED have been witnessed at the rear and alloy wheels are new. Front will be heavil revised. Stay tuned as we bring you more updates.
Renault Duster is quite frankly the only success story that the french car maker has in our country. Though expensive, with a quirky design and messed up interior it still continues to do average numbers despite stiff competition. Give our country any first with bling and it will continue to stay for ages. However, all is set to change that with 2016 Renault Duster. 2016 Renault Duster Facelifted version will get everything revised, but in small proportions.
2016 Renault Duster will get an LED tail-light and minor changes to the headlights. The side silhouette will remain the same and so does the rear. Interior wise the dashboard will see a redesign in minor fashion. Color pallet will change for interior and quality will stepped up. Fit-finish levels should increase and old rusting problem should be taking care of as well.
Mechanically the 2016 Renault Duster will similar with the 1.5 diesel and 1.6 petrol engines. Diesel will come in two tunes, 85 PS and 110 PS. The 110 PS is most likely to be automatically version that will get superb dual clutch automatic gearbox, which is miles ahead of the competition such as the Creta and Mahindra Scorpio. Expect changes to the engine make thins more efficient and smoother. Driveability will remain similar on both set of diesel tunes, which means 85 PS is for the city and 110 PS is for the highway and vice versa won’t work.
Expect the 2016 Renault Duster to offer same pricing or may be identical as before to keep the prices competitive. Renault has worked hard on improving dealership count and provide quality service to customers. With the competition heating up we think still Renault has an upper hand as word of mouth for the Duster is impressive as it provides easy on the pocket service bills, quality experience at sales outlet.
