2016 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Spotted on road, will get revised exterior’s, focus on higher economy as always
There was time when Maruti cars came out of nowhere and were seen on the launch stage. The car was built and tested inside the factory limits and even ARAI runs used to be done in-house too. However, know thanks to some people and the internet, which gets manufacturer free lime light and marketing costs can be cut down a bit too. Maruti has also climbed that wagon (not the Wagon R, pun intended) and the latest car to be spied on road is the new and fully camouflaged 2016 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
2016 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has been caught before testing by us in its un-camouflaged and it reveals the only change to the car is going to be the two slat chrome grill. Everything else is going to be similar which includes tail-lights and headlights. Bumpers may see marginal change at the front but not at the rear.
Inside in these pictures if you can see closely, there is touch screen interface that is visible and start stop including keyless entry is going to be a part of features list. Chrome rings on the cluster. Steering wheel mounted controls with Bluetooth will also make it to the list. All these above features are coming on the new ZDI+ and ZXI+ variants that are set make their entrance.
Pricing will stay similar for base to mid variants of the 2016 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Rs. 25-35k is expected to rise on the top variants such as the Z and Z+. Engines on the other hand of the 2016 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will get major bump in fuel economy. 2 km/l on the diesel and 1.5 on petrol is expected just like how we saw on the Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire recently. Launch as we have told before is going to happen in third week of October and should give tough time to the likes of Honda Mobilio and Renault Lodgy.
