The sub-four metre Qunato crossover was launched in 2012 with plentiful expectations but it struggled to meet the market demands and slowly began sinking from the beginning. It prompted the largest SUV maker in the country to re-think and come up with a facelift that’s been spotted testing numerous times last year.
Recently, Mahindra launched the facelift version of Quanto christened as Nuvosport with a starting price tag of Rs.7.35 lakhs. The seven-seater Mahindra Nuvosport comes in six variants with top two trims getting optional AMT transmission.

Mahindra Nuvosport Dimensions

It features a ground clearance of 180 mm and tips the weighing scale at 1640 kg as kerb weight. Nuvosport come with new generation platform with comfort suspension and anti roll technologies.
Mahindra Nuvosport Exterior
Mahindra Nuvosport features a comprehensively revamped front fascia and is built on an all-new platform. It has sharper elements with six vertical slats on the now-smaller grille housing the Mahindra emblem. The eyebrow-ish LED Daytime Running Lights are just above and underneath the bonnet making them appear like a separate unit altogether. The bumper up front has been refurbished with round-ish foglamps and new enclosures.
The air-dam looks prominent just above the under-body silver protection and the Nuvosport will come with newly designed alloy wheels and door cladding on the sides. The sharper creases bring up a more sturdy appearance but the side profile seems to have left undisturbed while the bonnet stays higher up with a larger scoop.
At the rear, the tail lamps have been darkened alongside the Nuvosport badge and spoiler to add sportiness to the overall package. The wheel arches and lower side-profile were finished with black body cladding. The aesthetics will surprise a few but it’s a matter of opinion whether you like it or you don’t as it’s unconventional.
